My Halloween...... posted just before christmas....lol

So I do realize that it's 6 days before Christmas, and I know I still have to post something creative with paper, but I wanted to share my bestest halloween costume to date. You see, I work in a nightclub on the weekends, as the hostess, and be it that I LOVE halloween..... I love dressing up for the occasion. This year I went as a zombie-doll. It was fun, and I was happy to have a creative flash. I still have yet to scrap the pictures of the boys and their costumes, but now that Christmas card season has come to an end...... I will have more time. So here is my spooky zombie-doll costume!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Ok well, it's almost the first day of the new SU catalogue..... but WAAAAYYYY more exciting than school.....

ya know when you start your year at school, you have a brand new home room, some new school mates, and of course all new text books???? Same subjects as the year before, but maybe a bit more advanced...... either way, sometimes you long for that old text book, that you knew inside and out, top to bottom, with all your notes written on the side, folded corners where you wanted to really remember something........

Well, every year that's how I feel when SU releases their new catalogue and idea book. It's all still Stampin' Up!.... but the layout has changed, the colors are different, things are not in the same place. And every year, I think..... how am I going to remember all this? Well.... just like last year and the year before that ( you get the idea ) I can't wait to dig my heels in deep this year, come up with some amazing ideas, share ones that were taught to me, and display them all ( high hopes ) on this blog site.

I know in my last post I said I was no longer going to be an active demonstrator..... but once you SEE THE NEW CATTY...... don't hesitate to book a party with me. You want this stuff......trust me, my wish list is a mile long already.

I know these are summer mini entries.... but I've been a little busy.

I'm just going to post pics as I make projects. I don't think we all need to read my babbly novels every single time.....lol....sigh

Well friends, it's that time of year again, where the people down at Stampin' Up! decide what stays and sadly, what goes into retirement. I don't know about you guys, but when I look at the retirement accessories, I panic. Take a peak here for a list of stamps and here for the accessories.

No More Demo's............

Except for online of course! I have been away for a while. 3 months to be exact. There are things that have gone on in my life that have re-routed my personal course. However, though inactive as an actual demonstrator, I have the best intentions of maintaining my blog with ideas, inspirations and incentives!

My new approach to paper crafting is this. Use what you have! I will feature new and old Stampin Up items, as well as items from other companies. I will do my best to list the products used and where you can get them. This is my new beginning.

In my group of ladies that get together once a month.... we have a non-card maker. She once told me that she just takes the cards we DO make and turns them into scrapbook pages. She couldn't make the last get together, so I took the liberty of changing the 2 cards into pages for her. So here are the BEFORE and the AFTER of what we did last Sunday.

Spring is in the air ( at least in my craftroom.....)

Well, it's no doubt that it's been cold across the country, and what Calgary had last week has now moved east, and is hitting my old hometown of Winnipeg full force. HA!! Ahem.... sorry. Either way, Christmas is done, Valentine's day is around the corner for those who celebrate ( will do heart cards later, right now I'm just not feelin it ) But SPRING!! Ah, spring is fast approaching! I haven't been demonstrating to many goodies that are somewhat challenging lately, not sure why, but I plan to redeem myself this year with ( hopefully ) mind blowing ideas and inspirations!

This is my first attempt at this......... it's a 2 for one, using Vintage Springtime designer series paper from the OMC from Stampin' Up! It's a card with a Corner Book Mark! Links are as follows:

Take A Spin

These spinners from the New Occasions Mini catalogue are the cutest ever! Yes they are interactive, so you can play around with the particulars of what each stamp from the " Take a Spin" set. I made this cute pair using the challenge from Curtain Call at Stampin with Stacey Act 64. It's nice to change up the colors once in a while. I am adding Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist to my list of favorites ( which up until the new colors came out, was only Old Olive ) Please enjoy!

OK! Sale-a-bration starts in 24 days. It's like Christmas all over again, but for yourself! This little cutie owl is one of the stamp sets you can earn ( check out website for more detail, or call me, or email me ) FOR FREE!! And this is just ONE of the stamps! It clearly coordinates with the Owl punch from the main catty.... and the red glitter paper is in the Occasions Mini which starts in 3 DAYS!!!!! I picked up the googly eyes as soon as my punch arrived, at a dollar store.... so a gazzilion for $1.00. Score. And I tried my hand at Rub-ons..... did you know that the adhesive remover also removes rub-ons ( for those of us who try fine detail things after way to much coffee.... this is good to know. ) ?
